What is Teara?
Teara is an iPhone app for organizing trips. It keeps booking details, destinations, reservations, and daily plans in one itinerary.
Why was Teara created?
Teara began as a personal project for a trip to New Zealand. A shared document could hold the details, but it felt too static for planning and experiencing the trip together. Teara was created as one focused place for bookings and daily plans, without the clutter of a general-purpose tool.
How do booking emails become part of a trip?
Forward a confirmation email to your personal Teara address. The app extracts the relevant details on your device. You can review and edit them before adding the booking to a trip.
What can I add to Teara?
You can add accommodation, vehicle rentals, flights and other transport, dining reservations, activities, and notes. Teara currently supports booking confirmation emails and PDF documents.
Is my trip information private?
Booking emails are processed on your device. Your trip data syncs through your private iCloud account, and Teara does not read your inbox.
How much will Teara cost?
Teara will be completely free to use.
